Where it is
This page covers the southwest of the city: from the edge of downtown at Coleman Road west to the Cobb County line, and from the Chattahoochee River north to about Hightower and Pine Grove Roads. Marietta Highway (Georgia 120) crosses it from downtown toward Marietta, and Willeo Road and Coleman Road are the other main roads. OpenStreetMap marks Roswell Oaks and Boulder Creek as named places here.
In the 2040 plan’s survey, the city proposed moving the area between Coleman Road, Willeo Road and Marietta Highway from its Established Residential category to Active Neighborhoods, which the 2045 plan describes as “small lot single family and multifamily residential areas near commercial areas and/or major roadways.” The 2045 plan says the policies for the city’s residential character areas “remain largely unchanged” from the 2040 plan. On the city’s current character areas map, about 68% of this area’s addresses are in the Neighborhood Residential category.
Of the 3,071 Roswell address points in this area in the Fulton County Schools map data, every one is in ZIP code 30075. Only 2% carry a unit number, so nearly every address is a single-family house.

How we drew this area
The name comes from the road and the 2040 plan’s description of the area between Coleman Road, Willeo Road and Marietta Highway. We extended it to the neighborhoods zoned with it out to the Cobb County line; the edges with Downtown and Woodstock Road follow main roads and are approximate. School and ZIP shares come from every Roswell address point inside the outline in the Fulton County Schools map service, checked Oct. 5, 2026. Store locations are © OpenStreetMap contributors.
