Hours

The hours on the market’s site are from an earlier season, under a banner that still dates them to the 2024 season. They give a guide to what to expect:

  • Monday to Thursday: 3 to 8 p.m.
  • Friday and Saturday: noon to 9 p.m.
  • Sunday: noon to 8 p.m.

Check the market’s site before a weekday visit in particular.

What’s there

The market lists mulled wine made to a traditional German recipe, food vendors, gift stalls, Christmas trees for sale and photos with Santa. The city’s page adds a biergarten with seasonal food and drink, a circular children’s train ride and Bulloch Hall itself, decorated for the holidays by local design companies and civic groups.

  • Santa photos: the market’s site lists 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with no reservations, from an earlier season.
  • Bulloch Hall house museum: open during market hours but usually closing an hour before the market does, the city says. Regular tours are not offered during the market, and food and drink are not allowed inside.
  • Alcohol: open containers are allowed in the Historic District for those 21 and older, but only drinks bought at the market’s beverage tents and restaurants, in plastic cups. No outside alcohol and no glass, the city says. Open flames, fireworks and illegal drugs are also banned.
  • Restrooms: two by the children’s train on the right side yard of Bulloch Hall, and portable toilets in the Bulloch Hall parking lot.

Parking and the free shuttle

Parking near Bulloch Hall is limited. The Bulloch Hall lot is for accessible parking only and is closed to through traffic during the market, according to the city’s Christkindlmarket page. The city lists these free lots and street parking:

  • Roswell City Hall and Roswell Cultural Arts Center lots, 38 Hill St. and 950 Forrest St.
  • Roswell United Methodist Church, Roswell Presbyterian Church and Roswell First Baptist Church lots
  • Mimosa Boulevard street parking and Mimosa Hall street parking
  • Park Square Court lot

Paid parking is available at Platt Family Law, the city’s map shows.

Free shuttle, sponsored by Malon D. Mimms Company: Fridays and Saturdays 3 to 9 p.m., Sundays 3 to 8 p.m. Stops are Roswell City Hall, Roswell United Methodist Church, Roswell Presbyterian Church, Roswell First Baptist Church and Bulloch Hall.

Uber and Lyft: the city asks riders to use the drop-off and pickup point near Roswell Town Square, 610 Atlanta St., and not to be dropped on Highway 120 or at Bulloch Hall, which backs up traffic.

For downtown parking rules on Canton Street, including the paid on-street spaces and the deck on Alpharetta Street, see the parking section of our Black Friday and holiday shopping page.

Road changes

Bulloch Avenue stays open to two-way traffic during the market but can only be reached from Mimosa Boulevard, the city says, and street parking on it is limited. Drive slowly there during market hours.

What it means for you

  • Weekend evenings are the busiest. Park at City Hall and take the free shuttle.
  • On weekdays there is no shuttle, so plan to park at the churches on Mimosa Boulevard and walk.
  • Check the market’s site for the 2026 hours before you go; we will add them here.

The market opens the week before Thanksgiving. Black Friday weekend also brings a free Holiday Expo at the Mimms Museum. Every other Christmas event, from the Dec. 4 tree lighting to the Nutcracker, is on our Christmas events page, and the tree lighting page has its road closures.
