Roswell voters can vote early at the Roswell and East Roswell libraries until Friday, Oct. 30. Hours, weekend times, drop boxes and the absentee deadline.

Early voting for the Nov. 3 general election is underway in Roswell. It runs through Friday, Oct. 30, at two sites in the city: the Roswell Library and the East Roswell Library.

Fulton County runs the election, not the city. It opened 32 early voting sites on Oct. 13, according to the county’s Oct. 1 announcement. Any Fulton County voter can use any of them.

The two Roswell sites

Site Address Absentee drop box
Roswell Library 115 Norcross St. No
East Roswell Library 2301 Holcomb Bridge Road Yes

The county lists a third site with a Roswell mailing address, the Johns Creek Environmental Campus at 8100 Holcomb Bridge Road. The county groups it with the Johns Creek sites. The East Roswell Library is one of only seven early voting sites in the county with a drop box. That is according to the county’s early voting locations page.

Hours

The same hours apply at every site, every day of early voting:

  • Monday to Friday: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Saturday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Sunday: noon to 5 p.m.

One early voting weekend is left: Saturday, Oct. 24, and Sunday, Oct. 25. Early voting ends Friday, Oct. 30, so there is none on the weekend before Election Day.

  • Johns Creek Environmental Campus, 8100 Holcomb Bridge Road

What it means for you

  • Vote early anywhere in Fulton County. You do not have to use the site nearest your home.
  • On Election Day, you cannot. On Nov. 3 you must vote at your assigned polling place. Find it, and your sample ballot, on the state’s My Voter Page.
  • Bring photo ID. Georgia requires it to vote in person. A Georgia driver’s license, even expired, a state ID, a U.S. passport or a military ID all count.
  • Absentee ballot already at home? Return it by mail so it arrives by Nov. 3, at the East Roswell Library drop box during early voting hours through Oct. 30, or at the county registrar’s office in the North Fulton Service Center. You cannot hand it in at your Election Day polling place, the county says.
  • Questions: Fulton County Registration and Elections, 404-612-4000, or the free Fulton Votes app.

The ballot is the county’s “General and Special Election.” It includes the statewide races and proposed amendments to the Georgia Constitution. Your exact ballot depends on your address, so check the My Voter Page before you go. There are no Mayor and City Council races on it: Roswell elects its mayor and council in odd-numbered years and last voted in November 2025, according to the city’s election results page.
