The family day
Art & Soul Kids and Family Day is the festival’s family event, held on a Saturday at the Roswell Cultural Arts Center. In 2026 it had free lobby activities, including a STEM activity from the North Fulton Area Section of the National Council of Negro Women, plus two stage shows at 9:30 and 11:30 a.m., $9 each.
The Mack Henry Brown Commemoration
The 2026 festival included a moment of reflection at the Equal Justice Initiative marker for Mack Henry Brown at Riverside Park, put up in 2019 near the Vickery Creek pedestrian bridge. The Mack Henry Brown Remembrance Coalition hosted a rededication and an open discussion in 2026. It is free.
